We will optimize the energy mix to achieve over 1.05 billion kilowatts of ultra-low emission coal-fired power units, increase the installed capacity of renewable energy from 650 million kilowatts to over 1.2 billion kilowatts, and increase the proportion of clean energy consumption from 20.8% to over 25%.

In his government work report, Li Keqiang also supported the promotion of the industry towards mid to high-end development. Strictly implement environmental protection, quality, safety and other regulations and standards, and eliminate outdated production capacity. Carry out actions to strengthen and supplement key industries. Launch a batch of industrial foundation reconstruction projects. Encourage enterprises to accelerate equipment upgrading and technological transformation, and extend the preferential policy of accelerated depreciation of fixed assets to all manufacturing industries. Promote the accelerated development of high-end equipment, biomedicine, new energy vehicles, photovoltaic, wind power and other emerging industries. We will continue to speed up the Internet and reduce costs, and develop "Internet plus". The number of mobile internet users increased to 1.45 billion. Supporting the development of the industrial internet has effectively promoted the digitalization and intelligence of the manufacturing industry. There are over 70000 specialized and specialized small and medium-sized enterprises. Promote the healthy and sustainable development of the platform economy, and play its role in driving employment and entrepreneurship, expanding the consumer market, and innovating production models. Develop productive service industries such as R&D and design, modern logistics, inspection, testing, and certification. Strengthen overall quality management and quality infrastructure construction. The quality and competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing are continuously improving.

According to the government work report, the main expected development goals for this year are: GDP growth of around 5%; About 12 million new urban jobs have been created, and the unemployment rate in urban surveys is around 5.5%; Consumer prices rose by around 3%; The growth of residents' income is basically synchronized with economic growth; Promote stability and quality through import and export, and maintain a basic balance of international payments; Grain production remained above 1.3 trillion jin; Energy consumption per unit of GDP and emissions of major pollutants continued to decline, with a focus on controlling fossil energy consumption and steadily improving the quality of the ecological environment.
